Time & Location

About the Event
Join us for an exclusive opportunity to see inside the recently-restored Crakehall Hall, owned by YGS Trustee, Russell Jarvis, who will give us a mini-tour and talk about the conservation work. We will also be joined by author and historian, Jane Grenville, who will give a talk on local Georgian architecture and its future. Jane’s latest book, ‘Yorkshire: The North Riding’, published with Yale University Press earlier this year, is the first complete revision of Pevsner’s original volume.
Drinks and canapés will be served on arrival.
Own transport required – please email yorkgeorgians@gmail.com to let us know your transport plans for the event. If you are driving and would be willing to carshare, you can select the reduced ticket option of £25. If you require a lift, please email us and we will try to organise a car share for you (if this is not possible, we will refund your ticket price).
